The next breakout hit from Hudson on WiiWare™ is here! Water Warfare brings all the action of a multiplayer First Person Shooter to deliver the most epic watergun battles right in your own living room without the messy clean up!  It also includes a variety of ways to play alongside or against your friends.  There are six different multiplayer modes to choose from and one or even all of them are sure to satisfy your soaking needs!

 

You can set up these different modes as a single match, where it's every player for themselves, or set up a team match and play with friends in an all-out water fight!  Local multiplayer allows up to 2 players while online multiplayer lets you hose it out between 8  players! So without further ado, let's break down the different multiplayer modes that will set the standard for action on WiiWare.

 

 

In "Battle Royal," the goal is to be the last one standing.  Each player only gets 2 respawns, so hunt down your opponents and hose them down fast before they get you! Try to sneak attack anyone you can by hiding in every nook and cranny you can find; or you can even jump up with the "Z" button on the Nunchuk to get to higher ground!

 

 

 

 

"Death Match" is a race to see who can get 10 KOs first.  There's no real limit to your respawns, but the more you get KO'ed by your opponents, the more notches they'll have against you!  Remember that weapons like the water shotgun are extremely effective at short range but a more powerful water launcher will soak your enemies faster and with less shots!

 

 

 

 

The "Treasure Chest" mode can only be played as a team match, which means you'll have to work with a partner or multiple allies.  The first team to bring back the opposing team's treasure chest 3 times wins!  A la capture-the-flag gameplay, you must find the glowing flags scattered on the map (the location of yours and your enemy's base) and take their treasure chest!  If an opponent takes the chest from your base, track down that thief and soak em' in order to get it back!

 

 

 

 

"Assault" is another team match only mode where your team must quickly take over the enemy base and defend your own base for as long as possible.  This consists of two rounds. The first one is locating and capturing the enemy base.  In the second round, you must quickly get to your own base and defend it from your attackers. Get your teamwork strategy in place to ensure victory!

 

 

 

 

 

In "Base" mode, which is also only playable as a team, you must be the first team to take over as many bases as possible and score 100 points.  Locate the glowing flags and protect them for 10 seconds in order to claim it for your team.  You can also find opponent-claimed flags and occupy them in order to take them over.  You'll rack up points for each success, so aim for 100 points!

 

 

 

 

"Point Rally" is a scramble to pass through all the checkpoints on the map and cross the goal.  Be on the lookout for the glowing markers!  Spraying down your opponents isn't necessary and might even be too time consuming in this mad dash, but that doesn't mean you still can't!

 

 

With so many multiplayer modes, you'll never get tired of all the soaking action!  Get ready to play with or against your family and friends in some seriously fun Water Warfare!
